Our Mission
 
We are Kollage Dance Troupe.  Our objective is to unite artists from different cultures and backgrounds for the purpose of dance.
 
We pride ourselves on our work ethic and the fact that everyone in the group performs to the best of their ability at all times.  We as members of Kollage Dance Troupe, are not just talented dancers; we are also a family.  We conduct ourselves with dignity in all situations.  We never forget to thank God for giving us the ability to share our talents with the world.  We are confident that day after day we will become stronger dancers as well as people. We were COBOL's 1st ever Organization of the Month for September 2005 and also COBOL's 1st ever Organization of the Semester for Fall 2005.

Our History

Kollage Dance Troupe was founded at Florida State in the Fall of 1998 by Tamara Prince.  We were founded on the basis that we did more than just the traditional hip hop, but we performed on all levels of the field of dance.  We are a virtual melting pot of rhythm and dance.  Be it Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop or any other form of musical expression, we are the Kollage of Dance. 

We have performed in such arenas as Florida State University POW WOW.  We have also coordinated with such groups as Essence and Phlava during our history here in Tallahassee.  We are growing in talent and diversity.
